Add text and titles to any video

Drop text anywhere on the frame, style it with the same font files the renderer uses, and animate it in and out. The preview and the export match.

Twelve fonts and the controls to style them

Twelve licensed display and body fonts, with true bold and italic files where the family has them. Never faux-bolded. Around them sit size, alignment, colour with recent swatches, outline, drop shadow and a background box.

  • 12 self-hosted fonts, identical in preview and export
  • True bold and italic files, never faux-bolded
  • Recent-color swatches shared across every color field

Entrance and exit animations

Fades and directional slides, a pop that springs in with a bounce, and a typewriter that reveals your line word by word. Each has an adjustable duration, and generated captions are the same kind of text layer.

  • Adjustable duration on every entrance and exit
  • Drag-anywhere placement, multi-line support
  • Captions are text layers too, so style them the same way

Questions

Will exported text match the preview?
Yes. The same font files render both, so line breaks, weights and placement all match.
Can I animate text?
Yes. Fades, directional slides, a pop spring with a bounce, and a typewriter word-by-word reveal, each with adjustable timing. The export renders the same motion.
Can I put a box behind the text for readability?
Yes. Background boxes take an adjustable colour and opacity, and there are outline and shadow options as well.
Do captions use the same text system?
Yes. Auto-generated captions arrive as ordinary text layers, so everything here applies to them too.
