Dissolve, slide in any direction, punch through with a zoom, fade, or dip through black. Each one is set per clip edge, previewed live and rendered the same way.
Six transitions, set per clip edge
Cross-dissolve for continuity, directional slides for energy, a zoom punch for social-style cuts, fades and dips for chapter breaks. Each is set on the clip edge it belongs to, with its own duration.
Set per clip edge, each with its own duration
The timeline layout holds: a transition never eats into your clips
Audio can crossfade under the picture
Effects survive the transition
A keyed, graded, masked or erased clip stays that way through the dissolve. Effects are re-applied on the outgoing frames, so nothing flashes back mid-transition.
Works with every per-clip effect: key, LUTs, masks, eraser, transforms
Stack them: a clip that is both keyed and graded carries both through the cut

Questions
Which transitions are available?
Cross-dissolve, directional slides (left, right, up, down), a zoom punch, a fade and a dip to black, each with an adjustable duration.
Do transitions shorten my clips?
No. The outgoing clip's handle frames are rendered over the incoming one, so your timeline layout stays as you cut it.
Do effects like chroma key survive a dissolve?
Yes, per-clip effects are re-applied on the transition tail, so a keyed or graded clip never flashes back to its raw footage mid-transition.
Can audio crossfade too?
Yes. Audio clips have a fade in and fade out on each edge, and overlapping them gives a crossfade under the cut.
